I believe that there is no separation between mind and body, but that food affects not only the performance of our bodies, but the performance of our brains as well, including cognitive abilities, moods and emotional states.
The use and power of lifestyle changes, dietary recommendations, diagnostic testing and supplementation (which includes vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs and essential fats) are used for the regulation, normalization, and improvement of your health.
The management of good health includes not only diet and supplementation, but exercise as well. Just as in diets, fads in exercising come and go. But exercise, too, is connected to your individual body type; some exercises are better for building lean body mass (LBM), some exercises are better for burning body fat. Learning how to exercise in the way that benefits you most gives you the best chance at living a healthy, vital life.
